Cisco opens two local vulnerability models

Cisco released Antares-350M and Antares-1B, two open-weight models for locating vulnerable files in a repository, alongside a 500-task benchmark on which the best general model scored just 0.229 File F1. The Antares announcement says both models can run locally, keeping private source code off hosted APIs while returning ranked files and an inspectable terminal trace. For teams building the continuous controls described in the agent-security firewall analysis, the useful signal is not that small models replace expert review; it is that repository triage may be cheap and private enough to run on every commit.
