Nscale buys Anyscale and its 200-person team

Nscale agreed to acquire Anyscale, bringing approximately 200 employees and the managed platform built by Ray’s creators into its vertically integrated AI cloud. Nscale’s announcement says Anyscale will keep its brand and infrastructure choice, Ray will remain under PyTorch Foundation governance, and the undisclosed-terms deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026.
