Hush Security raises $30M for agent governance
Hush Security raised a $30 million Series A, bringing its total funding to $41 million, as Akamai joined Battery Ventures and YL Ventures behind its identity and governance layer for AI agents. Hush’s funding announcement says its platform registers agents, replaces standing credentials with scoped just-in-time access, logs actions, and supplies a kill switch; Kyndryl has deployed it internally and begun reselling it. For teams applying the containment lesson from OpenAI’s sandbox escape, the round is a useful market signal that agent identity is separating from generic secrets management into a dedicated control plane.
