Eliyan raises $145M for optical interconnects

Eliyan raised a $145 million Series C at a $1 billion valuation to scale electro-optical interconnects for AI clusters. SiliconANGLE reports that the company has more than 100 patents and says its NuLink PHYs and NuGear chiplets are already being evaluated or deployed by unnamed hyperscalers, accelerator makers, and memory suppliers. The operator implication beside Nvidia’s latest data-center financing loop is simple: accelerator supply is only one constraint; bandwidth and power efficiency between compute, memory, and racks increasingly determine how much paid-for silicon stays productive.
