BrowserStack puts an agent across 30,000 test targets
BrowserStack launched Test Companion across 30,000-plus real device and browser combinations, saying more than 1,000 teams already author, debug, and maintain tests up to four times faster with the IDE agent. The company’s launch announcement says it supports Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, WebdriverIO, and TestNG while handling execution and repair rather than stopping at test generation. For engineering teams, this attacks the validation bottleneck behind the coding-agent shift from goals to managed outcomes, but the vendor-reported fourfold gain belongs in a pilot measured against flaky-test rate and maintenance hours—not in a capacity plan yet.
